A VISIT FROM KATE: bOoK kLuB

Hima and I were speculating over Gchat- what is an enemy pie?  I thought maybe it was a pie that you made out of your enemies, he posited that whereas pies are typically friends, this one plays by NOOOBODDDYYYS rules.   These are books I found for sale today.

This is from Paladin press, favorite publisher of Ray Tintori. DVD only I guess.

Where you can also get this title:

I recommend browsing their website, there are too many words to say about their fine products.

Here's a few more from the archives
I think Prince wrote a song about this.

I think I crave this book the way some people (girls?) apparently crave cupcakes.

A design principle of the Klingon language is the great degree of lexical-cultural correlation in the vocabulary. For example, there are several words meaning "to fight" or "to clash against", each having a different degree of intensity. There is an abundance of words relating to warfare and weaponry and also a great variety of curses (cursing is considered a fine art in Klingon culture). This helps lend a particular character to the language.
Enough with the reading already! Here is a guy robbing a store with a Klingon sword, or bat'leth.

do it.

  3. I saw that book on the website and for the briefest of moments thought that it might be a guide to fighting with folders, like manila ones, and then it all came crashing down. and then i picked myself up and looked at that man's face and said to myself, "things aren't so bad after all..."
